The discussion on the recommendation of the National Assembly is expected to begin in earnest.
The power of the people appointed two recommending members of the chief of the airlift, which was part of the opposition party, paving the way for the selection of candidates.
However, manpower is expected until the official launch. There is also the possibility that if the negotiations do not go smoothly, the workshop could continue until next spring.
◇ The revision of the Air Transport Law of the ruling party once stopped due to the recommendation of the opposition candidate
In the first place, the committee for the recommendation of candidates for Minister of Public Transport can be formed by agreement between the opposition parties. The force of the people, who had endured the nominating committee to the end, decided to recommend two conservative lawyers.
The members of the recommendation committee appointed by the people’s power were attorney Lim Jeong-hyuk, former deputy prosecutor of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, and Lee Hun, who served as chairman of the Korea Legal Aid Corporation, confirmed by CBS Nocut News.
The people’s power is expected to officially recommend two lawyers as members of the opposition party around the 26th, proposed by the Democratic Party as the Maginot Line.
Consequently, the Democratic Party plans to stop the discussions on the revision of the Air Transport Law so that, if the power of the people continues to reject the recommendation, the president of the National Assembly can recommend it. When the nominating committee is confirmed, the committee immediately schedules and begins the meeting to recommend to the Minister of Public Transportation.
Democratic Party spokesman Kang Seon-woo said on the 24th: “It is late, but it is fortunate” and “The launch of the airlift cannot be postponed any longer, and it should not be postponed any longer.”
Along with ruling party secretary Baek Hye-ryeon, Park Beom-gye and Park Ju-min, members of the Democratic Party judiciary are holding a press conference asking for the recommendation of the member of the candidate’s recommendation committee of the Dean of Airlift at the Seoul Yeouido National Assembly Communication Hall on the 21st. ◇ The core of the Democratic Party “both recommended by the opposition are the strongest”
But it is a mountain on a mountain.
This is because the committee can recommend a candidate for president only when 6 out of 7 members agree with the relevant law. In other words, if the two members recommended by the opposition party do not cooperate, a decision is impossible.
However, each of the opposition party officials boasted great firepower. Top Democratic Party officials say, “Both are the strongest.”
Attorney Lim, the 16th Judicial Research and Training Institute, was selected as a representative of “ public safety pain ” in the indictment and has a track record of being nominated for a special prosecution with attorney Heo Ik-beom during the Drooking comment manipulation case in 2018.
In 2012, when he served as head of the Supreme Swordsman’s Department of Public Security, he was in charge of the unfair competition for the proportional representative of the Unified Progress Party, and a total of 462 people were tried.
He and lawyer Lee Heon, a motive from the training center, served as vice chairman of the Special Investigation Committee of the Sewol ferry disaster in 2015 under the recommendation of the Saenuri Party during the Park Geun-hye administration. Later, he served as the president of Korea Legal Aid Corporation.
He previously served as a co-representative of the conservative group of lawyers, ‘Lawyers with Citizens’, and currently works as a co-representative of the conservative group ‘Lawyers for Human Rights and Unification on the Korean Peninsula’ in March last year .
Lee said on the coin that he agrees with the need to reform the prosecution, but “I think it is correct to recommend to the chief in the direction to resolve the unconstitutional element (in the Airborne Law).
He said: “The airlift should not be used as a time to appoint people familiar with the current regime, and as a time to crack down on regime corruption and crack down on former government officials.”
◇ If members of opposition parties exercise their detoitary rights, it is inevitable that they will have difficulties in recommending candidates for the Ministry of Public Affairs.
If the nominating committee disagrees due to the exercise of “non-total rights” by some members, there is little chance that the nomination of candidates will be delayed.
So there is a reaction within the Democratic Party about the timing of the airlift launch, “it has become difficult to see.”
In this state, there are also observations that the battle could be repeated for another six months.
Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Yong-min, a member of the National Assembly Judicial Committee, said on Facebook that “at least the power of the people will probably prevent the launch of airlifts until next year’s by-elections.”
If that happens, there is a chance that the Democratic Party will revise the law with 176 “power advantage” seats. In this regard, the party official said: “I don’t think we should talk about it now,” and avoided an immediate response.
