However, sporadic group infections continue through nursing hospitals, family gatherings and acquaintances.

The number of new confirmed corona 19 cases is 77, a decrease of half from the previous day.

About 10 additional people were confirmed in connection with the family in Guro-gu, Seoul, and the infected people also came out in connection with a meeting of acquaintances in Gangnam and Seocho.

Group infections also continue in nursing homes, which are vulnerable facilities.

About 10 people were added per day in connection with the Happy Shrine in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and the confirmed cumulative number increased to 40.

Among them, a patient in his 90s who was hospitalized for a long time in a nursing home died a day after being confirmed.

Quarantine authorities quarantined the entire building where the nursing home was occupied by the same group and banned visits to nearby nursing homes.
