Today (18), the first Sunday after social distancing was reduced to the first stage, face-to-face worship is held in churches across the country.

However, as the infection of the corona19 group of churches continues, quarantine measures have been added, such as limiting the number of attendees to 30%.

My place is on the second floor of the church chapel.

The face-to-face worship started at 9 in the morning and ended a while ago.

About 30 believers attended and prayers and hymns were performed.

It is said that the number of attendees was less than usual when trying to follow the quarantine rules.

After a while, the service is scheduled for 11 in the morning and about 60 people are expected to attend.

Face-to-face worship in the church resumed two months after August 19, when it turned into non-face-to-face worship.

This is how social distancing comes down to the first level.

However, the number of participants was limited as there were still concerns about infection of the churches.

In the case of the metropolitan area, only 30% of the number of seats in the chapel can be attended, and in the non-metropolitan area the conditions for face-to-face worship were decided for each local government.

Also, quarantine regulations should be observed as in the past, and various small meals and food bans will be upheld for a while.

Consequently, some churches received pre-service requests from believers and guided the QR code verification method.

In this church, fever tests, hand disinfection and lists were made from the entrance.

Even inside the chapel, we could see seated at a distance of more than 2m between seats.

Although the number of people was limited and small groups and meals were prohibited, concerns about the recurrence of contagious infections in churches remain high.

The government has decided to ban the facilities or impose a fine of no more than 3 million won for intentional or repeated violations of quarantine regulations.
