Influenza Vaccine in Order of Arrival …

[ad_1]

Flu vaccination has resumed, but the number of free vaccinations for children up to 12 years of age is insufficient.

Although additional vaccines are being administered, the vaccine shortage is expected to continue for some time as there are still no more than half of the vaccinators.

I’m reporter Kim Dong-young from JCN Ulsan Central Broadcasting.

A medical institution in Ulsan.

A long line lined up in front of the building since morning to receive the flu shot.

Parents who have been waiting more than an hour to complete their child’s vaccination are now in trouble.

An average of 800 people get a flu shot each day here.

The application is also closed in the morning.

This is because as of this year, the number of vaccinations per doctor was limited to 100.

The situation is the same for other hospitals.

In particular, some hospitals already have all free flu shots for children under 12 years of age.

Free vaccinations for children under 12 are offered in the form of vaccination at the hospital and the government pays for them according to the amount of vaccination.

Ultimately, the government decided to convert 15% of the free flu vaccine given to youth to children under 12 years of age.

However, in Ulsan, 58% of children under 12 who have not yet been vaccinated account for 58%, and the lack of vaccines is expected to continue for the time being.
