A 16-month-old baby who has been reported several times for abuse died with fractures and bruises on his body. There are also noticeable scars on the forehead. Anomalies have already been found several times. In May, a child care center reported that a bruise was found on the body, and in June, a report was submitted to a child protection agency saying the child was left alone in a car. There was also a report from the hospital that it would work. Police and child protection agencies searched the scene, but each time the boy was returned to his parents. But in the end, the boy who came to the hospital emergency room with cardiac arrest on the 13th couldn’t wake up. Bruises and fractures were found on the body. Instead of rescuing a dangerous child by relying only on his parents’ words, there is no choice but to be criticized for neglecting him multiple times. As a result of examining various circumstances and seeking expert advice, the police explained that it was difficult to conclude that it was child abuse. While the boy’s parents are known to claim there was no abuse, the Seoul Police Agency is investigating whether three reports of suspected abuse by Ms A were handled in accordance with regulations.
