In Busan, where a group of infected people came out, it was decided to carry out a special inspection of hospitals and nursing facilities and large-scale inspections of workers.

The metropolitan area also decided to carry out diagnostic tests preventively, but has extended the scope of the target to those who work in nursing hospitals and psychiatric hospitals.

This measure takes into account that the majority of new patients, especially those from high-risk groups, are concentrated in the metropolitan area.

The city of Busan has decided to conduct a special inspection on group infections in nursing hospitals.

We will check that the workers and patients wear the masks well and that the access list is not lost.

We also announce a diagnostic test for all workers.

The scope was broader than that of Busan, considering that the majority of new patients were recently concentrated in the metropolitan area.

In particular, considering the situation in which 90% of the elderly are among seriously ill patients, we will strengthen the quarantine of the facilities where these vulnerable groups are concentrated.
