This year’s Chuseok holiday movement was slightly less than last year.

The confirmation scale during the Christmas season was stable, but going forward, I cannot be relieved.

The government is targeting the lockdown early, saying there won’t be a rapid spread like after the August holidays.

The Chuseok holiday, which was considered a turning point of the quarantine, passed without much importance.

The amount of movement was down just 3.1% compared to last year’s Chuseok holiday, but the confirmation size held steady at double digits.

The average number of patients per day last week during the holiday season continued to decline to 57.4.

Still, about 1 in 5 people do not know the route of infection and it is highly likely that the confirmed person has not yet been filtered through the quarantine network due to asymptomatic transmission.

The government is deciding this week how to adjust its distancing steps, taking into account trends and risks.
