The Japanese government is easing various regulations related to Corona 19 one after another.

Their aim is to save the economy that quickly collapsed due to Corona 19 after Suga’s inauguration, but the number of infected people in major cities like Tokyo is increasing again.

The number of large-scale events in Japan has dropped considerably. How much has been released?

[기자]

Yes. In Japan, to prevent Corona 19, only 5,000 people were allowed into outdoor events.

The Japanese government has decided to remove this restriction, allowing more visitors to enter sporting events such as baseball and soccer, as well as large concerts.

Consequently, up to 50% of event venues with a capacity over 10,000 can be accommodated.

For example, in the case of a 40,000-person stadium, entry was limited to 5,000, but now it is said that up to 20,000 people can enter.

Venues with a size of 10,000 or less were able to receive 100% capacity.

The Japanese government plans to continue deregulating large-scale events until the end of November, then to decide again after seeing the Corona 19 infection spread this winter.

In major cities like Tokyo, the number of infections has increased again last week. What is the situation?

[기자]

Yes. From 11 to 17, the number of people infected in the Tokyo area for a week was 1,164.

Almost 60 more than a week ago.

Saitama and Chiba prefectures near Tokyo also saw an increase in the number of infected people during the same period compared to the previous week.

In large metropolitan areas such as Osaka and Aichi prefectures, the number of infections has also increased.

In Tokyo, Osaka and Aichi, the average rate of positive tests per week also increased.

Experts see the recent spread of the infection as a worrying situation.

In Japan, there are four days off from yesterday until the 22nd.

This is because the number of infected people tended to increase significantly after the Christmas season after the Corona 19 incident, and the impact of various government deregulations cannot be ignored.

Japan’s new Prime Minister Suga has repeatedly emphasized that he will promote the economy and keep Corona 19 from being a top priority.

The contagion situation after the Christmas season is expected to be a key factor in determining the speed of implementation of various policies.
