It was the first confirmed case in Korea.
On the 23rd of the same month, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation banned Korean Air’s regular routes from Incheon to Wuhan.
This was the beginning of a complete closure of Corona, the so-called closure.
In the next eight months, the air highway to Wuhan, China, reopened.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has decided to allow T’way Air to operate the Incheon-Wuhan route.
T’way Air was scheduled to operate last year by distributing transport rights for the Wuhan route, but as crown 19 was extended, it was unable to even launch the first flight.
Previously, major airlines also started scheduled flights to major cities in China in June after consulting with Chinese authorities.
