It is reported that the prosecution intensively investigated Mr. A about the role he played in the process of extending his sick leave and whether there was any external pressure or preferential treatment.
Mr. A is the boss of Captain B, a support officer at the time, insisting that he received a phone call from Under Secretary Chu to extend Mr. Seo’s vacation.

It was the first time that prosecutors launched an investigation into the suspicion of Choo’s son’s long vacation in January and disclosed the facts of the investigation to the media.
Previously, the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor’s Office held a public deliberation committee on criminal cases and decided on a policy to disclose some of the investigations, such as the subpoena of those involved in the case.
In the midst of public attention, suspicions seem to have been raised about the prosecution’s investigation called the procrastination investigation.
However, the position of the prosecution is that the details of the statements cannot be disclosed, as they are prohibited disclosure information and the timeline for future investigations cannot be disclosed.
The prosecution, which repeatedly summoned the officers of Mr. Seo’s troops and service soldiers, is known to coordinate the summons of the KATUSA soldiers who served with Mr. Seo.
