In a Gallup Korea poll of 1 to 3 of 1,002 people over the age of 18 and published on 4 (± 3.1% of the sampling error of the 95% confidence level), President Moon Jae-in’s approval rating it was higher than Jeonju’s (47%). It fell 2 percentage points to 45%. Forty-four percent of those polled said President Moon was “doing the wrong thing” in running the state administration, 1 percentage point higher than the previous week (43%).
One of the reasons for the decline in approval ratings is a major strike and controversy over medical policy. Of those surveyed who said President Moon was “doing wrong” in conducting state affairs, 7% cited the reason as “medical policy.” Respondents who chose ‘real estate policy’ were 19%, 3 percentage points less than the previous week.
In this poll, the Democratic Party’s approval rate was 39%, 1 percentage point higher than the previous week, and the people’s power approval rate was 20%, the same as the previous week. The Justice Party’s approval rate was 4%, 3 percentage points less than the previous week.
