Damage continues to occur in southern regions such as Jeju, Busan and Gyeongnam, which are in the path of typhoons.

Blackout damage occurred in 36,000 homes in Jeju, and in Gyeongnam, Busan and Jeollanam-do, strong winds are causing large and small damage.

Let’s summarize the damage situation by region identified so far.

The area of ​​Jeju that first encountered the typhoon was the most damaged.

At 0 o’clock today, there were power outages in 36,000 homes in Jeju, and there were at least 290 damage to facilities, such as flooded roads and flying signs.

At 10 o’clock the night before, 7 cases of wounded were also rescued, 14 in total.

The damage in Busan and Gyeongnam is also severe.

In Busan, all 3,874 households reported a power outage, but the damage occurred in multiple locations and the speed of recovery is very slow.

All 21 roads, including the Gwangalli Coastal Highway and Gadeok Bridge, were checked, and 89 people from 45 households in the lowlands were evacuated.

In Gyeongnam, there have been power outages in 1,607 homes in Tongyeong, Geoje, Hadong and Hapcheon, and 29 roads, including the Sacheon Bridge and the Samcheonpo Bridge, are under control.

Although it did not get in the path of the typhoon, the nearby Jeollanam-do area was not seriously damaged either.

128 people in 66 households are evacuating, mainly in coastal villages, and 518 households in Geomun-do have suffered power outages.

When the day is bright, the damage is expected to increase.
