The number of new confirmed cases per day showed a slight decrease for five days and then rose again yesterday.

Compared to the previous day, there were 32 more people, reaching 200 for four consecutive days.
Consequently, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Korea is 20,449.
Domestic outbreaks are 253 people and overseas entries are 14.
When looking at the national outbreaks by region, 98 in Seoul, 79 in Gyeonggi and 10 in Incheon, 187 were added in the metropolitan area alone.
There are also cases of confirmed cases outside the metropolitan area.
There were 14 in Daejeon, 13 in Daegu, 10 in Gwangju, and 7 more in Busan and Chungnam.
Additionally, there were 5 confirmed cases in Ulsan, 3 in Jeonnam and Gyeongbuk, 2 in Gangwon, and 1 in Chungbuk and Jeju.
There were no confirmed cases in just two places, Sejong and Gyeongnam.
The entries abroad were confirmed by 3 people during the quarantine stage and 11 people from the local community.

First of all, by the end of this month, we decided to secure an additional 110 beds for seriously ill patients only.
The plan is to designate a dedicated treatment hospital for seriously ill patients to ensure beds that can only be hospitalized for seriously ill patients with COVID-19.
In addition, it was decided to deploy dedicated military personnel and nurses to treatment beds for seriously ill patients.
