Free Support for 4 Kinds of Inspection Equipment Worth 8 Million Won to Revitalize the Hydrogen Industry
It is expected to strengthen autonomous security management capabilities and improve security through the use of high-performance inspection teams.
The project to support the creation of a hydrogen industry ecosystem to revitalize the hydrogen economy has started in earnest.
On the 3rd, Korea Gas Safety Corporation President Hae-Jong Lim held an award ceremony for the free rental of high-performance inspection equipment to ease the burden of safety management costs at Samhan Hydrogen Station. in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
This project is a company purchasing four types of hydrogen gas leak detectors, earth resistance meters, thermal imaging cameras and standard gas injection devices, which are essential equipment for safety inspection in hydrogen charging stations, and lends them to hydrogen fueling stations for free.
It was promoted as part of the ‘Comprehensive Hydrogen Safety Management Measures’ announced in December 2019 to support early achievement of government activation of the hydrogen economy.
If a hydrogen cargo company wants to lease inspection equipment, it will receive 4 types of inspection equipment, worth approximately 8 million won, free of charge.

In addition, it is expected to have a great effect in strengthening your own security management.
Gas Safety Corporation, which established the Institute for Hydrogen Safety Technology earlier this year, is promoting a project in support of the hydrogen quality inspection fee, ensuring the reliability of inspections of three key hydrogen facilities and establishing a permanent security inspection and security management support system together with the free rental business of high-performance inspection equipment.
Hae-jong Lim, Chairman of Gas Safety Corporation, said: “We look forward to the fact that KDHC, the Korea Hydrogen Safety Agency, will be a sure support for the expansion of the hydrogen economy by making every effort possible. to create a sustainable hydrogen safety ecosystem and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. “
