When a team of experts from the World Health Organization announced that Wuhan might not be the source of Corona 19, the United States responded that they would not believe it. However, China said it was the United States’ turn and responded immediately. Correspondent Kang Seong-woong reports from Beijing. The White House drew a line saying that the United States did not participate in the investigation by the WHO expert team on their visit to Wuhan. Since we have raised concerns about the transparency of our investigation from the beginning, we can only judge by looking at the report. The US State Department also said that if a team of experts publishes the report, it will analyze it and draw conclusions independently. They expressed their disbelief that the investigation schedule was arranged in consultation with China and carried out in private. It is a position in which they cannot believe the announcement by the expert team that there is no evidence that the origin of Corona 19 is Wuhan. The investigation of the WHO team of experts is practically hand in hand with China. The Wuhan Virus Research Institute denied the leak, admitting that low-temperature food could be a source of infection. It was also announced that the animal that transmitted the coronavirus to humans could have come from abroad. China did not respond to the possibility that the experts would revisit Wuhan. Instead, the United States also called for an investigation, saying the timing of the first confirmed case would precede the official announcement. Some Chinese government outlets have argued that Southeast Asia, near China, should be investigated. Given that the World Health Organization expert team’s visit to Wuhan did, in effect, give China an indulgence, there are also signs that the investigation into the origin of Corona 19 will expand to other countries.
