Pfizer vaccine can deteriorate if it is not kept at -70 degrees Celsius and must be stored in a cryogenic freezer.

Quarantine authorities have already set up a large freezer warehouse that drops to minus 85 degrees.

Distribution center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do.

When you open the automatic door, you can see a 121㎡ freezer and strong cold comes out.

It is currently 72 degrees below zero.

I’ve been getting hot water like this and will sprinkle it in the air.

As soon as I sprayed it like that, it turned into a mist in the air and disappeared.

It is a cryogenic warehouse that drops to -85 degrees Celsius, and is expected to contain 10 million Pfizer vaccines that must be kept at -70 degrees Celsius.

Modena vaccines that require -20 degrees Celsius and AstraZeneca vaccines that are sufficient at a room temperature of 5 degrees can be stored.

This is because the temperature can be adjusted for each store.

The vaccines to be introduced into Korea are not transported directly from the airport to the medical center, but instead go through the freezer.

This is because unexpected situations can occur during the delivery stage and require sorting and repackaging according to quantity.

The integrated control center tracks and verifies the location and temperature of the vehicle transporting the vaccine in real time.

The military transport support headquarters is dedicated to support missions such as convoy and guard.

AstraZeneca, which is relatively easy to store, is a medical institution, and Pfizer and Modena vaccines that must be kept cryogenic are delivered to the inoculation center.

Inoculation centers equipped with freezers will be installed at 250 locations across the country in July and gyms will be used to provide sufficient distance and safe waiting space.
