The Channel A investigation team is known to have concluded that prosecutor Han Dong-hoon should be removed from office and submitted an electronic payment to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, Lee Seong-yoon.

According to law enforcement officials on the 24th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office (Chief Prosecutor Byun Pil-Geon) did not conclude any charges against Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon, who was allegedly charged with attempting coercion in the Channel A case on the 22nd. The payment plan was published. It is known that on the 22nd the approval of the District Prosecutor’s Office was not made.

The investigation team at the end of last year is reported to have concluded that there were no charges from a prosecutor and published a 100-page A4 report without charges. The grounds for the accusation are intended to be insufficient and it is difficult to confirm the accusation.

However, the approval of the District Attorney’s Office has not been obtained for more than a year. Within the indictment, Prosecutor Lee is said to disagree with the innocent opinion of the investigation team.

An official from the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office said: “There are no provisions yet and it is difficult to respond to the decision-making and review process.”
