Yes. For three weeks starting tomorrow, the police, along with related organizations such as local governments and the Food and Drug Administration, will crack down on unauthorized entertainment establishments.

The targets of the intensive crackdown are unlicensed entertainment establishments operating in an irregular manner to avoid a ban on entertainment facilities.

The police recently discovered a series of behaviors in which some companies register their businesses as singing practice centers or restaurants in general and operate them as entertainment bars.

From 4 to 17, the National Police Agency uncovered 43 cases of 348 people secretly operating entertainment facilities, including danran pubs and singing practice areas, which are subject to the assembly ban.

YTN has also reported on the secret business behavior of some entertainment facilities multiple times.

Early on the morning of the 16th, it was discovered that three entertainment facilities were secretly operating in a business district in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

58 people were charged, including business owners, employees and customers.

Two of the three entertainment facilities were charged with illegal business even a month ago.

Although the police were investigating 33 people, including business owners, for violating the infectious disease prevention law, they also continued their businesses.

These establishments only received guests who made reservations so that the facts of the business did not leak abroad.

In addition, it was investigated that when the police officers were dispatched, they were identified with CCTV beforehand, locked the door from the door, and led customers to the back door to avoid repression.

Also, on the 20th, an entertainment bar in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was captured.

41 people were charged, including business owners, employees and customers.

Police who were dispatched after receiving a report of illegal business at an entertainment bar asked for the door to be opened, but the business side stubbornly persisted.

With the help of firefighters, the police broke open the door and arrested the owners and customers.

Police said such unauthorized business would harm other self-employed who comply with the order prohibiting meetings, and would seriously interfere with quarantine, for which they will be strictly punished.

So far, the Ministry of Social Affairs has handed it over.
