The investigation committee sent an official letter to the National Police Agency last month requesting that Mr. A be reexamined for his death. In particular, although the procedure was slow, the body has been left in a cold freezer for 11 years. The unpaid body eye treatment alone costs more than 200 million won. A hospital official said: “Given Mr. A’s unfortunate circumstances, there is a willingness to discuss the eye treatment issue prospectively if the grieving side wishes,” he said. “I have to meet with the grieving family for a consultation, but the contact itself is difficult,” he said.
Currently, it is practically impossible to place the body of Mr. A in the memorial hall without a grieving family. The body of Mr. A was delivered in the freezer for a long time in a semi-mummy condition. A prefectural official said: “In the case of unrelated people, the saddles are made with the cooperation of the police and the Office of Veterans Affairs, but if there is a family, there is no way unless the survivors request “.
