Confirmed cases of Corona 19 again surpassed 1,000 in three days.
Yesterday was a holiday, so even though there were fewer tests than on weekdays, the number of new confirmed patients was back on the list.
In the midst of this, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has initiated an approval review of products related to the AstraZeneca Corona 19 vaccine.
The government has announced that it will be vaccinated sequentially starting in February.

There were 1.20 new cases of Corona 19 and 985 domestic outbreaks excluding 35 foreign entries.
The number of domestic outbreaks was 324 in Seoul, 260 in Gyeonggi and 101 in Incheon, 685 in the metropolitan area.
In the non-capital region, there were confirmed cases in all regions except Sejong, including 74 in Gwangju, 34 in Busan, 33 in Gyeongnam, and 29 in Daegu.
In particular, group infections in correctional facilities across the country are rarely abating.
A total of 1.84 people have been confirmed so far, with an additional 121 confirmed cases at the East Seoul Detention Center, where a large-scale group infection occurred.
Quarantine authorities are tense as only one employee has been confirmed in Jeju Prison.
Furthermore, as the spread through vulnerable facilities such as religious facilities and nursing hospitals continues, risks such as the influx of mutant viruses from the UK and South Africa continue.
In the midst of this, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said it has begun reviewing the Korean AstraZeneca vaccine.

“The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety aims to shorten the existing processing period of 180 days or more and process it within 40 days for the rapid approval of corona 19 vaccines and treatments, including the product for this approval.
AstraZeneca is currently conducting phase 3 clinical trials in 10 countries, including the UK, Brazil, and the US.
The UK approved the urgent use of the AstraZeneca vaccine and started vaccinating it from 4 local time. As it is the first vaccine to be introduced in Korea, the results are attracting attention.
Quarantine authorities plan to start vaccination in order from the first trimester, starting with those recommended to vaccinate first, and ending before November, the flu epidemic.
