Paternity leave for men was found to have increased significantly thanks to the government’s policy of encouraging fathers to raise their fathers.

However, for every 100 men entitled to leave, the actual license rate is still less than two.

Last year, about 160,000 people took parental leave to care for children under the second grade of primary school.

Men represent 19.9%, which is 1 in 5

Parental leave increases year after year, especially male parental leave, which has increased 16 times more than 10 years ago.

While 65% of parental leave was found to work for companies with 300 or more employees, only 3.8% of companies had 4 or fewer employees.

The share of parental leave was high in industry and civil service for men, and in health and social welfare for women and public service.

This means that large companies and public servants relatively enjoy the benefits of the parental leave system.

However, the percentage of those who were able to take parental leave in the year the child was born actually spent just over 20%.

Notably, of the 217,000 male paternity leave targets who had a child last year, the actual number of parental leave was just 4,000, less than 2 out of 100.

In 2010, the number of fathers who took parental leave until age 8 was 19.6 per 100 births, with 17.8 women and 1.8 men taking parental leave.

Women used parental leave a lot when their children were under 1 year old, and men used parental leave when they were 7 and 8 years old.

Parental leave accounted for 85% of the total, so the proportion of people who spend it all at once instead of sharing it is absolutely high.
