After 6 nursing care workers were confirmed for the first time on the 11th, when 60 patients were confirmed in a pile, the nursing hospital went into group quarantine.
To date, more than 110 people, including residents, staff and caregivers, are in cohort quarantine at the hospital.
Of these, more than 70 confirmed cases remain in nursing hospitals.
Confirmed patients need treatment, but this nursing hospital does not have negative pressure equipment or critical care facilities.
Due to a lack of medical staff, the Central Accident Control Center has employed 19 medical staff, but there is a limit to care for confirmed patients without medical equipment.
Given that staff and patients have already been exposed to infections for a long time and poorly ventilated in winter, it is highly likely that unconfirmed people in cohort quarantine along with confirmed patients will eventually be confirmed.

Most of the confirmed cases in nursing hospitals, etc., are hospitalized elderly patients between 70 and 90 years, so the number of deaths may increase even more.

There are only 42 treatment beds for severe corona19 patients in Korea.
Of these, there are six beds that can be used immediately in Seoul, and none in Incheon, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonnam and Jeonbuk.
Quarantine authorities are in an emergency to secure the beds.
Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital is the first private general hospital in the metropolitan area to volunteer as a dedicated Corona 19 hospital to begin construction of the facility.
Incheon Gil Hospital is slated to become a Corona 19 Critical Patient Base Hospital.
Gyeonggi-do is also considering a plan to issue an administrative order forcing private hospitals to secure beds for critically ill Corona 19 patients.
