President Moon urged him to fulfill his duties to the end, saying that he would deliberately decide whether to accept or not, but is expected to continue serving as minister for the time being until he is elected as a successor.

With this in mind, within the prosecution, there is an atmosphere in which Minister Chu is keeping a close eye on whether he will stay until the regular prosecution greetings scheduled for January next year.

The Committee on Personnel of Prosecutors of the Ministry of Justice, which was held recently to appoint a new prosecutor, announced the appointment of prosecutors for next year towards the end of January and decided to carry them out as of February 1.

Depending on custom, senior prosecutors, prosecutors, and middle officers are likely to be executed a week or two before then, so the number of prosecutors is practically less than a month away.

I am interested in the replacement of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, Nam-gwan Cho, who is now in charge of acting as the authority of the president.

Deputy Prosecutor Cho was promoted to Chief Prosecutor in August after serving as Chief Prosecutor of the Ministry of Justice under Minister Chu Mi-ae.

Although it was classified as the so-called Minister Choo line, it was assessed that the line was established towards Yoon, as he publicly expressed his stance of asking for reconsideration at the time of the exclusion of President Yoon’s duties.

In connection with the Channel A case, there are also observations that Seoul Senior Attorney General Cho Sang-cheol, who handed prosecutor Jeong Jin-woong to trial for self-harm, and Daejeon District Prosecutor Lee Du- bong, which is investigating the case of the Wolseong nuclear power plant, could be replaced.

It is analyzed that the environment in which prosecutors refrain from making group statements after the decision of President Yoon’s disciplinary decision, unlike the moment of removal from office, is also not alien to the personnel who came forward.

The prosecution’s gaze is focused on whether Minister Choo Mi-ae, who has already been criticized for trying to align prosecutors by carrying out large-scale personnel twice this year, re-leads the Prosecutor’s Office after the company’s speech .
