Yoon, who was 22 years old, flocked to Lee Chun-jae’s eighth incident on September 16, 1988, and his life went to hell.
The following year, he was charged with delinquency, sentenced to life imprisonment at the first trial, and appealed denying the charges, saying: “I made a false confession under police duress.” Yoon, who served 20 years in prison and probation in 2009, submitted a request for reconsideration in November last year after Lee Chun-jae’s confession to the crime, and the court accepted it in January this year and decided to initiate a new trial.
Yoon, who was released from rape and murder that day, said: “Now I can confidently tell my deceased mother that I was taken out of the frame.”
Yun said, “I feel like the time I stopped in 1988 has been released again. It’s easy to do. I will live for 10 years and continue working in leather cutting in Cheongju, my second hometown.” Yun’s older sister and nephew, who saw their younger brother’s acquittal in court that day, blushed at Yun and said, “I have suffered a lot.”

The judge, who was acquitted that day, said: “As a member of the judiciary, I apologize to the accused who suffered greatly mentally and physically after being incarcerated for a long period of time.
