[전국]The State of Hospital Beds in Seoul Just Before the “Third Stage Voluntary Appeal”

Treatment beds are almost empty in Seoul, where the number of new corona infections19 has surpassed another 300 units a day.

The city of Seoul made efforts to secure beds first and asked citizens to voluntarily set a distance of three steps.

Hospital beds dedicated to infectious diseases: 85.7%, one remaining bed for critically ill patients and 245 beds available immediately in the life treatment center.

As of the 16th, this is the current condition of beds in Seoul, which is almost before the winter season.

With the goal of not being able to quarantine at home, the city of Seoul began to strengthen the public medical system.

As of next Monday, 5 additional hospitals, including the Red Cross Hospital, were designated as infectious disease hospitals, securing 278 beds.

We plan to secure 2 seriously ill beds this week and 18 beds in 6 advanced general hospitals by the end of the year.

In addition, we plan to operate separate “recovery period hospitals” and “quasi-critical patient beds” for each Corona 19 treatment stage, and 150 container beds equipped with negative pressure facilities.

Currently, nine autonomous districts are operating life treatment centers, and an additional 13 districts will be added this week to increase the number of beds to 1,900.

In the private sector, 280 additional beds will be installed in the Somang Church training center and 520 beds will be installed in the dormitory of Seoul University.

The problem is that the recent increase in the number of confirmed cases is difficult to cope with, even if hospital beds are “extended forever.”

The city of Seoul finally appealed to citizens to step three steps apart.

Meanwhile, the city of Seoul has decided to conduct a free comprehensive test for high-risk groups of Corona 19.

This target is for groups exposed to the so-called “three temperature environment”, such as distribution and logistics companies such as package delivery, foodservice workers, call centers, and sewing companies.

Workers in religious and nursing facilities, emergency care workers, and drivers of public transportation, such as buses and taxis, where group infections are not infinite, are also subject to extensive screening.
