Yoon’s side argued that it was illegal to hold a meeting with six members, although the Minister of Justice, Chu Mi-ae, was unable to participate in the deliberation because he was a disciplinary plaintiff.

The deliberation of the disciplinary committee held on the 10th is illegal and invalid.

He said he will call for a reorganization of the disciplinary committee with 7 members, including preliminary members, on the 15th.

In response, Professor Han-jung Jeong, who served as the president’s representative, refuted in a call with YTN that it was not mandatory to appoint a reserve member and that it was not necessary to appoint a reserve member as most of the Members were present at the time of deliberation and assembled a physician quorum.
