On the 12th, the number of new coronavirus (Corona 19) infections in Seoul is likely to write a new record every day.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said about 350 additional confirmed cases were identified in the building over 21 hours from 0 o’clock to 9 p.m.
Considering that the number of confirmed cases is likely to increase during the remaining three hours of this day, the number of new confirmed cases per day is expected to exceed 362 the day before. This will break the record for all-time daily records in one day.

To find hidden infected people, the city of Seoul has set up and operated around 71 temporary screening clinics that focus on multipurpose facilities or places with many confirmed cases.
In the case of Gangnam-gu, a temporary screening clinic will be set up near Exit 6 of Samseong Station and in Gaepo Seo Neighborhood Park (Gaepo-dong 180) and will operate from January 16 to 3.
