A month ago, the number of confirmed cases also increased in Jeonnam, but in recent years it has remained relatively stable thanks to the preventive increase in distance and the rapid reinforcement of quarantine measures. However, be vigilant.
Today, we are holding a script meeting at the Jeonnam provincial office to address the quarantine situation in the Honam area. When looking at the recent spread of Corona 19, there is a pattern of spread throughout the country through contact between family, friends and colleagues, mainly in the metropolitan area.
Furthermore, the number of cases outside the quarantine network makes it more difficult to block the spread. In the end, to curb the momentum of this trend, we must first seize the victory in the quarantine of the capital area.
The government is expanding preventive testing to actively detect hidden spreaders while blocking the spread of confirmed cases.
To this end, we will install around 150 temporary screening clinics in major areas of the metropolitan area so that anyone can easily receive diagnostic tests before the end of the year. We ask for your participation.
In addition, we will send more than 800 staff members, including military, police and trainees, to each area of the metropolitan area to support epidemiological investigations. If the metropolitan area is opened, we will do our best with the resolution that the entire Korean quarantine dam collapses.
He came back the weekend. Although the spread of Corona 19 in various places in daily life has increased recently, group infections in religious facilities have decreased compared to before. I think it’s because the denomination took the initiative and the church members actively cooperated in the quarantine.
But in the end, we shouldn’t stop the tension. In particular, there are many concerns since it is the end of the year and some places are preparing various religious gatherings and events before Christmas. As you have cooperated thus far, I ask that you strictly follow quarantine regulations, such as non-face religious activities, gatherings, and no meals.
The recent bird flu situation is also unusual. A total of 8 cases of avian influenza occurred on chicken and duck farms in six cities and counties across the country, including Yeongam and Naju, Jeollanam-do. Also, since antigens are continuously detected over a wide area, nationwide spread is a concern.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and each local government are urged to put all their efforts in quarantining the hamlets so that the 2016 pandemic does not recur. In particular, carefully check and support poultry farms to ensure each farm’s quarantine water is properly observed on site through the first dedicated poultry control. Thank you.
