YTN reported an accident in which the bell at the end of fourth period rang earlier than expected at a SAT test site in Seoul.

In the same way, at the SAT test site in Daejeon, it was confirmed that the end of the fourth period sounded earlier than scheduled.

The candidates are said to have been confused.

It is a high school in Daejeon where 500 students took the SAT.

3:57 p.m., when the first scientific exploration field was in full swing.

I had about three minutes of exam time left, but suddenly the end bells rang in all the exam centers in this school.

Some candidates who took the exam while calculating the remaining time did not complete the answer sheet correctly, but did take the exam.

However, after a while, the broadcast went out saying that the termination announcement was incorrect and the proctors re-handed the exams.

However, the examinees said that the process of distributing the test papers was also different for each test room later on.

[피해 수험생 : 감독관 대처가 다르셔서 교실에 있는 학생마다 시험지를 언제 나눠주눈지에 따라서 형평성이 어긋났던 것 같아요.]

We extended the exam time by 3 minutes, but the unexpected accident confused the examinees.

The Daejeon City Bureau of Education said the school had an error in the process of installing the transmission facilities, but it seems that a problem occurred while correcting the error.

[대전시 교육청 관계자 : 오류가 나서 처음에 세팅했던 것을 다시 하는 과정에서 세팅을 57분에 울리게 했던 거죠.]

He added that the Daejeon City Office of Education is investigating the school, and if there are any mistakes or errors in the school, it will take appropriate action.

However, in the carefully prepared exam with the final bell ringing earlier than expected, the damage caused by the distraction and confusion was left to the students.
