Mr. A, a man in his 30s who was driving a silver Benz, turned himself in to police just 10 hours after the accident.

Mr. A, who volunteered to report to the police, stated: “It looks like there was an accident in the morning” and “I did not drink alcohol and I think he was driving drowsy while coming home late after work.

However, in addition to the alleged hit-and-run of Mr. A, the police are investigating whether he is driving drunk.

A police officer said: “We will check to see if you are drinking alcohol through investigations on your cell phone and card details.”

Mr. Kim suffered two weeks of injuries and 15 million won in auto repair costs.

Mr. Kim said: “I was injured, but I was scared and careful to hold the steering wheel. I hope the owner of the hit-and-run will be investigated and punished.”
