Quarantine authorities are expected to decide whether or not to increase social distancing at a critical script meeting tomorrow.

Let’s summarize the new Corona 19 confirmation at 0 o’clock today.

There are 504 new cases of Corona 19 in Korea.

They were 51 people less than the day before, but it still maintains a high level of 500 people.

There are currently 33,375 confirmed cases.

Regarding the route of infection, the national outbreaks were 486 and the foreign entries were 18.

At the regional level, there are many metropolitan areas.

Seoul 176, Gyeonggi 122 and Incheon 25, accounting for 66.5% of the total local outbreak.

In the non-metropolitan area, Gangwon has the highest number with 33 people, while Busan has 27 and Chungbuk has 23, with confirmed cases in 16 provinces except Sejong.

There were 18 confirmed cases of influx abroad, including 3 that came out of the quarantine stage.

In addition, the death toll yesterday was 6, an increase of 5 from the previous day, and the cumulative death toll was 522.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders was 78, 1 less than the previous day.

In the midst of this, it is necessary to raise the level of social distancing again, some voices come out, how will the quarantine authorities decide tomorrow?

Unlike the first and second coronavirus episodes, the third coronavirus outbreak has occurred simultaneously across the country and quarantine authorities are unable to keep up with the spread.

Currently, the metropolitan area, including Seoul, and some areas of Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, are in the second stage, while the remaining areas of Honam, Gyeongnam and Yeongseo, Gangwon are at level 1.5.

Consequently, quarantine authorities plan to decide tomorrow on an adjustment plan for social distancing by gathering input from local governments and experts at tomorrow’s critical script meeting.

If the spreading trend this weekend is not serious, there is the possibility of an improvement in 2.5 stages in the metropolitan area or in 2 stages nationwide.

However, if the distance is increased, it will damage the economy, which will deeply concern the quarantine authorities.
