Although the collective opposition of the prosecution to withdraw the disciplinary complaint and the exclusion of the prosecution by Attorney General Yoon Seok-yeol is spreading, the Minister of Justice, Choo Mi-ae, practically refused to proceed in accordance with the laws and procedures.

Next week the interrogation date of the request for suspension of the exclusion of the functions of President Yoon and the disciplinary committee of the Ministry of Justice is scheduled consecutively.

The reaction of prosecutors against Minister Chu’s actions has not abated.

The backlash from prosecutors has spread to almost the entire prosecution.

First, in 18 prosecutor’s offices of all local prosecutor’s offices, the prosecutors made a statement against the actions of Minister Chu, and most of his subsidiaries also participated.

Executive-level prosecutors also participated, including the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, 69 prosecutors from 21 offices across the country, and 34 former prosecutors also issued a group statement.

But Minister Chu rejected the prosecutors’ demand.

I fully understand the shock and embarrassment that the prosecutor’s organization may have received, but I emphasized that this action was carried out on the basis of concrete statements and extensive evidence.

In particular, referring to the suspect document from court inspections, they criticized prosecutors for taking the document for granted and feeling severe self-destruction.

Both Minister Chu and President Yoon have no intention of retiring, but the interrogation date for the suspension of the exclusion from duties requested by President Yoon will take place the day after tomorrow (30), right?

Yes, the Fourth Division of the Seoul Administrative Court will hold the hearing date for President Yun’s request for stay of execution against Secretary of State Chu at 11 am the day after tomorrow.

Already the day after the interrogation (30 days), a conclusion can be drawn.

If the court accepts Mr. Yoon’s request, Mr. Yoon can return to his office until the outcome of the lawsuit is found to cancel the stay of execution, which is the original case.

This is expected to affect the decision of the Prosecutor’s Disciplinary Committee, which Minister Chu decided to convene on the 2nd of next month to determine whether and how much to punish Yoon.

The prosecutor’s disciplinary committee is a structure in which 5 out of 7 members are nominated or commissioned by Minister Chu, so the observation that the impeachment of President Yun will be prompted predominates.

If the court before the disciplinary committee accepts Mr. Yun’s request, the disciplinary committee is also affected.

I am also interested in the fact that the Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Justice will take place before the disciplinary committee is held.

There was a controversy that Minister Chu tried to open a disciplinary committee bypassing the inspection committee, but what happened?

Minister Chu agreed to hold a disciplinary committee for President Yun on the 2nd of next month, and the inspection committee never called.

The impeachment committee, which was normally held before the prosecutor’s disciplinary committee, did not meet this time, and a dispute arose as to whether Minister Chu was trying to “pass” to the inspection committee.

Most of the inspectors also opposed this and demanded an emergency call for the inspection, and agreed to hold a meeting on the 1st of the following month, one day before the disciplinary commission.

However, the Justice Ministry made a difference last night urgently, drawing a line that said it was considering whether to hold the inspection committee and the date was not confirmed.

If the Inspector General takes place before the disciplinary committee and there is a negative conclusion about the punishment of President Yun, criticism of Minister Chu’s action will also increase.
