This amendment will apply immediately to psychiatric institutions that request permission to open new facilities after March 5 of next year.

Existing institutions must meet the relevant standards by December 31, 2022, and until then, the maximum number of beds per hospitalized room must be kept at a maximum of 8 beds and the distance between beds is 1 m.
