Argentine Diego Maradona, one of the best footballers in the world along with Pelé, died of a heart attack.

Soccer fans and people around the world have expressed their sincere condolences on the death of soccer legend Maradona.

One of the best footballers in the world beyond his native Argentina, he was famous.

Maradona, who celebrated his 60th birthday late last month, underwent brain surgery for a subdural hematoma on the 3rd.

He died of a heart attack at his home in Tigre, a suburb of Buenos Aires, while recovering from outpatient treatment.

Local media reported that Maradona suffered a heart attack and had died when nine ambulances arrived.

At the same time, many of the soccer stars who were with Maradona on the ground expressed their deepest condolences on the news of his passing.

Maradona, who made his professional debut at the age of 16, scored 34 goals in 91 A games through FC Barcelona of Spain and Naples, Italy.
