Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will prevent President Moon Jae-in from attending today’s diplomatic ministers meeting with Korea and China, and will discuss pending issues such as the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the regional situation in middle of the conflict between the United States and China. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi officially visited Korea on a three-day, two-night schedule. It’s been almost a year since last December. Like last year, Wang is preventing President Moon Jae-in. Since it is a delicate period due to the US regime change, President Moon is expected to call on China’s role in stable management of the situation, including preventing North Korean provocations. Director Wang is expected to repeatedly explain China’s position amid the conflict between the United States and China, and vowed to play a constructive role for peace on the Korean Peninsula. Regarding President Xi Jinping’s visit to Korea, he is expected to reiterate his willingness to go ahead with Corona 19 while stabilizing. Prior to this, Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha held a meeting with Wang and the Korean and Chinese foreign ministers.
