As the spread of Corona 19 in Korea intensified day after day, the number of new confirmed cases was 363, reaching the level of 300 for three consecutive days.

The government called until the end of the year to abstain from meetings planned for the year as much as possible and to stay home whenever possible except for essential activities.

The spread of Corona 19 in Korea is accelerating.

The number of new confirmed cases rose to 363, reaching the level of 300 for three consecutive days.

In 305 days after the first confirmed cases were released on January 20, the cumulative number of confirmed cases surpassed 30,000 and the number of deaths surpassed 500, respectively.

By region, there were 218 new confirmed cases in the metropolitan area alone, including 127 in Seoul and 62 in Gyeonggi, and new patients were identified in nearly every city, including 24 in Gangwon, 18 in Gyeongnam, 15 in Chungnam, and 14 in Jeonnam. .

The government has raised social distancing to 1.5 steps in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju and parts of Gangwon to curb the rise of Corona 19, but the infection is so diverse and has spread across the country that it is feared that the spread continue for the moment.

Along with this, the quarantine authorities decided to implement reinforced quarantine measures, such as abstaining from dinners and meetings of government ministries, local governments and public institutions as of next week, and activating home work.

The government is doing everything possible to secure the necessary amount of vaccine in a timely manner. Until then, he stressed that the only precautionary measure was to follow strict quarantine rules, such as wearing a mask.

Also, as the criteria for corona19 diagnostic test subjects have been greatly relaxed, they can receive free tests with only suspicious symptoms, so if they feel suspicious symptoms such as fever or cough, they requested that they get tested as soon as possible.
