The government has drawn up a pre-generation plan to supply 114,000 public rental units in two years.

The government has decided to supply 114,000 public rental units by 2022 to overcome the jeonse crisis.
We plan to intensively supply 70,000 units to the metropolitan area where the jeonse crisis is severe.
In the first half of next year alone, we plan to supply 49,000 units nationwide and 24,000 units in the metropolitan area to extinguish the urgent fire.

The government first allowed 39,000 unoccupied rental housing units that were unoccupied for more than three months to be rented to the homeless regardless of income or assets.
In the case of purchase-rental, where LH, etc. purchase and lease multi-family homes and offices, 44,000 additional units are supplied mainly for new constructions through a purchase agreement with a construction company.
We also provided 18,000 units of ‘jeonse public housing’, which has increased the unit price to double the existing purchase rent and has expanded the target area to the total homeless.
The government decided to offer incentives such as the offering of land for housing when private construction companies actively seek to offer private housing.
We plan to supply 13,000 units by remodeling non-homes such as hotels and shopping centers.
Along with this, the government decided to start building a 30 pyeong public rental housing next year that even the middle class can live in, and supply 63,000 units by 2025.
The government also announced that it is in the process of designating Haeundae, Suyeong, Dongnae, Yeonje, Nam-gu, Daegu Suseong-gu and Gimpo-si in Gyeonggi as target areas for adjustment, and that they will announce the designation sooner or later.
