A new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea showed signs of reproliferation, and on the 12th, New Year’s Day, cases were confirmed across the country.

According to quarantine authorities and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 345 new cases confirmed as positive by the Corona 19 test were confirmed from 0 o’clock to 9 p.m. that day.

The decrease in the number of provisional counts confirmed the day before and this day compared to the last 10 days (446 people) appears to reflect the effect of the decrease in the number of inspections during the Lunar New Year holiday.

In the area where confirmed cases were found, 259 (75.1%) in the metropolitan area and 86 (24.9%) in the non-metropolitan area.

With time left until midnight, when the count closes, the number of new confirmed cases that are announced at 0:00 on the 12th is expected to rise further, reaching the range of 300 in the mid to late. If there are many, it can be up to 400 people.

The day before, at midnight, it increased by 24 more and ended at 403.

The ‘third pandemic’, which started in earnest since mid-November last year, has entered a lull phase in the new year, but recently, the number of confirmed cases has risen again, showing a disturbing pattern. The number of new confirmed cases, which had fallen to the level of the late 200s, has soared to the level of the early 500s and has now dropped to 400.
