This measure focused on supporting small business owners and the underprivileged class that was affected by the spread of the crown.
We provided 3 million won for 11 “banned group” businesses, such as academies, indoor sports facilities, and singing practice, and KRW 2 million for 11 “restricted group” businesses, such as restaurants and cafes.
In addition, general industries with annual sales of 400 million won or less, whose sales have decreased due to Corona 19, can receive a support fund of 1 million won.
For the underprivileged class, special types of workers, such as assistant drivers and teachers in the apprenticeship branch and self-employment, receive support from 500,000 won to 1 million won, and taxi drivers up to 1 million won.
The government has announced that 2.8 million small business owners and 870,000 people from underprivileged classes will receive support for this measure.
[홍남기/경제부총리]“We have prepared a direct and immediate damage support plan so that small business owners and the underprivileged can cope well with the Gobi Valley. It is based on cash support, but with rental loans, etc.”
In addition, small business owners who have suffered damage due to the collective restrictions will receive loans at a minimum interest rate of 1.9%, and the tax deduction rate for so-called good tenants, which reduces rents, will also increase from 50% to 70%.
We are investing 2.6 trillion won to support the rehabilitation of small and medium-sized businesses and small business owners and support for job security.
Thus, the budget prepared to support the third extension of damages was 9.3 trillion won.
The self-employed claim that it will be useful, but considering the damage in the past, it is not enough.
[강성환/필라테스 시설 운영]“It won’t help, but it’s actually a very small amount in terms of operating loss per month from our point of view.”
The government plans to complete the payment of subsidies to 90% of the beneficiaries from January 11 next year until the Lunar New Year to expedite support.
