The aftermath of a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) that occurred at the cricket boiler factory in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do continues.
With the completion of the total inspection of 641 employees, the confirmation of the employees is giving signs of calm, but the umpteenth infection of relatives and acquaintances who have contacted them is sporadically advancing.
According to the city of Chungnam-do and Asan on the 17th, eight more confirmed cases related to the cricket boiler plant in Chungnam-do that day alone.

The cumulative number of employees so far was 129 (including 5 families from Daejeon).
102 employees were confirmed, and 27 relatives and acquaintances were also infected.
Nine staff members were tested at different locations and received positive notifications.
In this factory, the first confirmed cases occurred on the 13th, which is the Lunar New Year holiday.
Many employees are reported to have visited their hometown during the Lunar New Year holidays and unknowingly reunited with their families and acquaintances.
Some employees tested positive at their home locations.
That’s why nine confirmed employees from Asan’s cricket boiler plant came out in Daegu, Gyeongsan, Chuncheon, and Osan.
Quarantine authorities completed a full inspection of 641 cricket factory employees that day, but now the umpteenth infection is beginning.
There were six confirmed cases in Daejeon that day, of which five are families of cricket factory employees they met during the Lunar New Year holidays.
In Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do, two people who had contacted three factory workers during the Lunar New Year were notified of the training.
In Daegu, Gyeonggi Siheung and Busan, relatives of cricket factory employees were confirmed to be infected, but were not included in the total number of employees.
In other regions, secondary infections of relatives of cricket boilers continue sporadically, but quarantine authorities in Chungnam province do not know how many employees have visited their hometown during the Lunar New Year holidays.

Quarantine authorities are also tense because more than 20 foreigners are included among the confirmed cases.
In Chungnam Province, until recently, a group infection occurred mainly in foreign workers at a Thai food store in Cheonan and at a broiler processing plant in Dangjin, which once caused measles.
Governor Yang Seung-jo said, “We investigated foreign workers based on the latest group of Thai infection, but we do not judge that they have been thoroughly investigated,” said Governor Yang Seung-jo.
