First, we will expand the scope of compensation for losses suffered to treat crown patients19 and shorten the payment time to alleviate the operational difficulties of medical institutions. On April 9, to compensate for the loss of emptied hospital beds due to the safety and closure of infectious disease treatment beds, KRW 1 billion was first paid to 146 institutions.
The government will advance the second loss compensation, which was originally scheduled for June, to support the second calculation before the end of May. To reflect the hospital loss that contributed to patient treatment, we will expand the scope of compensation to provide substantial support, including losses incurred in patient treatment beds in paying the second calculation.
On the first payment, more money is expected to be paid than the existing compensation for the loss of the empty bed. Furthermore, considering that it will take a considerable amount of time to finalize the final compensation, we plan to support urgent management crisis resolution of medical institutions by paying monthly payments.
In addition, we plan to expand lending support to struggling medical institutions with Corona 19. The government expanded the budget of 400 billion won to make loans of 15 billion won to 1,581 medical institutions by May 7. In early June, we plan to request approximately 3,900 more hospitals.
In response to requests from medical institutions, we plan to expand financial business support so that additional funds can be secured during the third supplemental period to ensure liquidity of funds from medical institutions. The government is also promoting advance payments for hospitals and pharmacies, which are national health insurance nursing agencies across the country, at 90% to 100% of the same month salary the year before. So far, we have provided KRW 1.7 trillion to 5039 institutions. However, if you are using a loan from a financial institution, it is difficult to be excluded from prepayment of health insurance.

On March 23, the number of negative pressure isolation rooms and intensive care units for patients with corona19 increased, and on March 24, the number of infection prevention measures was again established in the National Hospital, Hospital de Nursing and the Mental Hospital.
