From now on, I will briefly explain the general contents of the 2021 University Academic Competence Test.

This year, the number of applicants for the SAT is 490.3433. Testing began at 8:40 a.m. a while ago at 1,383 test sites in 86 test districts across the country.

Among them, there are 29 hospitals and vital treatment centers for confirmed corona candidates19 and 113 separate testing sites for self-isolation candidates.

Additionally, 631 students are eligible for exam accommodations and are currently taking the exam. Among those who are eligible for the test adaptation, there are no severely visually impaired candidates who have taken the fifth class.

Therefore, at 8:20 pm, when the fifth class test for students with mild visual impairment, will be the final time of the test.
As of today, appeals are accepted and appeals are reviewed.

Appeals are filed on the website of the Korean Institute for Curriculum and Assessment, and are accepted from today until Monday at 6pm, followed by a screening from 8-14.

Once the review is complete, the correct answers will be announced at 5pm on December 14th. And on December 23, examinees will be notified of their grades.

This SAT test was formulated to accurately reflect the content and level of the current high school curriculum, maintaining the standard of the previous year’s questions, and to measure math skills required for a college education.

In particular, to help normalize secondary education, questions were presented focusing on the core and core contents of the curriculum. Even if the core contents of the syllabus were addressed in the existing exam, if necessary, the question type and problem solving method were changed and questions were asked again. .

More specifically, in the field of the Korean language, the questions were asked using materials of educational value in various fields and, in accordance with the sanctions, we tried to minimize misconduct among the examinees.

In the field of mathematics, issues such as the ability to understand and apply the basic concepts and principles of mathematics in the field of the curriculum, and the assessment of basic calculation and reasoning skills, etc., tried to avoid even excessively difficult questions when holistic thinking was required. .

The English section was formulated to measure basic listening, communication, and active reading skills within the vocabulary level established by the curriculum.

The area of ​​Korean history was presented in a simple manner, focusing on key and important content according to the purpose of assessing the basic knowledge of Korean history.

The field of research includes social, scientific and labor search. The inquiry area was formulated to measure inquiry ability and problem-solving ability within the scope of the curriculum and, in particular, efforts were made to minimize bias between electives.

The second section of Chinese foreign language text was presented with questions to assess language skills necessary for basic communication and understanding of the culture of the corresponding language.

Overall, to ease the burden of excessive student preparation for exams in all areas and to help improve school education, questions were presented taking into account the scope and level of the current curriculum.
