The government plans to share with Biden the idea of ​​a peace process on the Korean peninsula and the latest situation, and focus on managing the situation so that North Korea does not choose to provoke with wrong judgment.

President-elect Biden has been criticizing President Trump, emphasizing work-level negotiations that can promote denuclearization.

However, he has opened up the possibility of a summit meeting between the United States and the United States, saying that if we reduce our nuclear capabilities, we can meet with President Kim Jong-un.

The government plans to share details of the negotiations with North Korea that have been held so far with Biden-elect.

Even if you start with negotiations at the working level, it is desirable not to start over from scratch, but to build on achievements so far, such as the Singapore agreement.
