Earlier this month, Kim Sang-jo, chief of the Blue House Policy Officer, said in a media interview: “We are also considering an alternative to increase the amount of jeonse through LH Corporation or SH Corporation.” .

This ‘public charter’ is not only difficult to manage because the volume itself is sporadic and the total volume is not large, so it is insufficient as a solution.

More time will be needed to find a solution that will silence public opinion and, in the meantime, the prevailing crisis may intensify.

Here, as the Democratic Party even introduced a bill that would extend the term of jeonse’s contract to 3 + 3, criticism is emerging about whether it is a tinkering recipe again.

In the absence of clear countermeasures, the jeonse crisis is unlikely to subside unless there is some stability across the property market.
