The Security and Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters meeting is currently taking place at the Seoul Government Complex, chaired by Prime Minister Chung Sye-gyun.

Let’s hear the comments from Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun’s meeting a while ago.

Yesterday and today, the number of confirmed national cases again reached triple digits.

Despite efforts to enter the steady state, anxiety reappears.

Considering that group infections continue in medical institutions and nursing facilities and full testing is being carried out in metropolitan area nursing hospitals, the number of confirmed cases may increase even more.

The quarantine and harmony of daily life, which is carefully continued as if walking on a thin layer of ice, face a great challenge.

The government will do its best to prevent chronic group infection by thoroughly reviewing the quarantine situation on site with local governments.

The number of deaths after receiving the flu vaccine continues, mainly among the elderly.

I would like to express my sincere consolation to those in distress who suddenly lost their precious family.

So far, experts have confirmed that the association between vaccination and death is low, but many people are uneasy.

Quarantine authorities are encouraged to fully investigate the causal relationship between vaccination and death, and to disclose progress in a transparent manner.

The problems that belong to the field of science must be followed relying on the judgment of the experts. The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in close consultation with experts in this field, are asked to do their best to provide sufficient measurements and quick explanations so that the public can receive vaccines with confidence.

Halloween Day, which has been popular with young people for a few years now, is emerging as a new risk factor for the spread of infection as the week approaches.

There is a possibility that young people’s desire for activities, which has been stifled by long-term social distancing, could explode due to lack of awareness.

The risk of Halloween causing a second crisis in the club is very high.

Many people worry that there will even be a public petition to crack down on clubs and entertainment facilities next weekend.

Young people are advised to refrain from visiting clubs where large numbers of people gather and to ensure they follow quarantine rules, such as wearing a mask while visiting.

Quarantine authorities and local governments are asked to take the necessary quarantine measures in advance to prevent the spread of Corona 19 due to the Halloween event.

To establish a sustainable quarantine system, the practice and responsibility of individual citizens is as important as the quarantine efforts of the government and local governments.

Our daily life, which was taken for granted before Corona 19, is no longer simply taken.

We must bear in mind that our precious daily life can collapse in an instant if we do not bear the small inconvenience of following the quarantine rules in our lives.

We ask for the continued participation of people in the long way to regain normal life.

Thank you.
