On the 21st, a threatening letter requesting a poisonous substance, Cheongsangari and 1.44 billion won, was delivered to Shincheonji Daejeon Church.

Three days after the police investigated, Mr. A in his 50s was arrested and arrested in an apartment in Seoul.

Police explained that the USB that came with the threat letter had conclusive evidence to identify the suspect.

Police said that Mr. A has denied all charges and that no association with Shincheonji has been confirmed.

The poisonous threat letter sent by Mr. A was put in a mailbox in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do and sent to the Gapyeong Shincheonji Training Center.

However, it was confirmed that the mail was delivered to Shincheonji Daejeon Church, which was written as the destination when the training center rejected the mail.

Police said A has also confirmed a threatening letter that appears to have been sent to another Shincheonji church.

However, because the churches were closed, the threat letter containing poisonous material was returned and stored at the Gunsan Post Office in Jeollabuk-do.

As a result of a police investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. A had been sentenced to prison after sending several threatening letters to a company representative five years ago asking for billions of won to put liquidation on a product.

Police are investigating the purchase route and the accomplices based on the computer seized from the home of Mr. A.
