Police said they brought documents and files, mainly for documents related to the curriculum and educational materials.

The seizure search, which began around 8:45 a.m., ended at 11:30 a.m.

The IM mission in Jung-gu, Daejeon, the main building of IEM International School, which is an unauthorized facility, and the affiliated buildings were searched.

The Daejeon Police Agency is directly carrying out investigations related to the IM Mission.

Approximately 10 police officers belonging to the anti-corruption economic crimes investigation team were arrested and searched at the scene in quarantine uniforms.

A shocking group infection began when 127 people were confirmed per day at IEM International School, an unauthorized educational facility operated by IM Mission.

There are more than 20 unauthorized educational facilities operated by this mission.

In addition to Daejeon, group infections occurred in facilities such as Gwangju and Gyeonggi province, and there were more than 400 confirmed cases nationwide related to this mission.

Previously, the city of Daejeon indicted two people, including Michael Cho’s CEO, for violating the Infectious Disease Prevention and Management Act.

During the non-face-to-face worship period, in-person worship was held in the facility’s worship hall, and it was revealed that various quarantine regulations were violated, such as ‘service within 20% of the number of seats’ .

The Daejeon Metropolitan Bureau of Education also charged the police against Michael and others for violating the Hagwon Law and the Elementary and Secondary Education Law.

The name ‘school’ was used without registration or establishment of school in the Office of Education, and was presented based on the situation in which secondary and high school subjects were operated for more than 30 days for students of school age.

The police are expected to proceed soon with a subpoena investigation of Michael Cho’s representative based on data seized and recorded for the Instant Messaging Mission.
