The situation in Seoul is getting worse.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was found to exceed 10,000, and more than 1 in 1,000 people had Corona 19.

Finally, the Seoul Metropolitan Government canceled the ‘New Year’s Bell’ event for the first time at the end of the year.

The cumulative corona19 confirmed in Seoul has surpassed 10,000 in less than a year since the first outbreak.

As of last month, it is 0.1% of Seoul’s total population, which means that more than one in 1,000 people is infected with Corona 19.

The problem is the strong rate of increase.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul doubled in just two and a half months after surpassing 5,000 in September.

New confirmed cases in Seoul showed a sharp rise in mid-October as a turning point, and this month, the number of new confirmed cases dropped every day and an emergency ensued.

As the expansion trend became more and more serious, the city of Seoul decided not to stop the Bosingak Festival at the end of this year.

It is the first time in 67 years since the event began in 1953 that the New Year’s Eve bell was canceled at the beginning of the new year.

Instead, Seoul plans to prepare for the sound of the Bosingak bell at midnight on the last day of this year by pre-recording.
