[전국]Gangwon confirmed half of Wonju … from restaurants to convenience stores, schools and academies

More than half of the corona19 confirmed patients in Gangwon-do are occurring in Wonju.

Recently, the spread of the infection, which was first identified, especially in residential restaurants, is not unusual.

It is a small restaurant in a residential area in Wonju, Gangwon-do.

After the restaurant owner in his 50s was confirmed, the door was closed.

In the past three days, most of the 20 confirmed corona 19 cases in Wonju, Gangwon-do, have been related to this restaurant.

Infections between families, such as owners and partners, spread rapidly to acquaintances traveling with relatives.

Among the confirmed acquaintances, there was also an operator of a convenience store, and about 100 residents in the vicinity were examined.

A bank employee who was in a car with a confirmed relative was infected, and a high school teacher who visited the bank was also confirmed.

In just two days, a chain infection continues here and there, and in most cases without symptoms, the initial route of infection remains cloudy.

I also worry about school.

An elementary school student got infected and a high school student was confirmed who attended the Taekwondo academy with this student.

At 10 am, the parents of an elementary school in Wonju line up in front of the school gate to wait for their children.

During the school day, a confirmed student left, the school was closed, a doctor’s office was set up on the playground, and all students were screened.

More than half of all confirmed cases in 18 cities and counties in the Gangwon area occurred in Wonju, which has the largest floating population.

Wonju City has closed all facilities used by the elderly, such as retirees, and the education authorities have decided to switch to remote classes in two schools with confirmed students.
