[전국]Family-to-family infection, a bond with the community

As the number of infection cases between families has increased in recent years, it is acting as a link of spread to the community.

Looking at the recent infection situation, quarantine authorities explain that not only social distancing is urgent, but also the distancing between families.

After confirmation of patient 1047 in Busan, 7 family members were confirmed at once.

Siblings living apart were investigated having a family reunion at one location last week.

The family of patients with the umpteenth confirmed cases related to the premiere music hall also had a positive diagnostic test result before self-isolation was lifted.

In Busan on Wednesday morning, 31 additional confirmed cases were confirmed, of which 18, or 58%, were cases of familial infection.

These family-to-family infections don’t end with family problems, but they can become a spreading link to communities like schools, hospitals, and workplaces.

Quarantine authorities requested that family gatherings be avoided, even for the time being.

It’s difficult to completely block infections between family members living in the same home, but that doesn’t neglect quarantine measures.

There are other ways to keep family members apart, such as keeping a certain distance in conversation, wearing a mask, not talking when eating, ventilating frequently, and washing your hands.
